This was an old and tired SCCA race car when it arrived at our shop. It had some salvagable parts on it but suffered from years of neglect and poor repairs. The existing roll cage did not meet Vintage racing regulations so we fabricated a new one. We built a race spec engine and rebuilt the transmission. We installed a new fuel cell and fire safety extinguisher system. We mounted a new racing seat, and restored the car inside and out.

Our new roll cage would now comply with regulations, and general body repairs were made to improve the cosmetics.
Today
Our shop has provided repairs and upkeep of this race car for the past 15 years. Its driver, Terry Davis, has won many awards at the wheel of this bug-eye sprite.
